The project contributes to the improvement of the rule of law in Serbia in accordance with European standards and strengthens the role of the public prosecutor as a guardian of the courtroom.

The presence of representatives of the Prosecutor Association of Serbia (UTS) in working groups for the drafting of by-laws related to the public prosecutor’s office increases the impact and contribution of civil society organizations in reforms within the EU accession process that guarantee the independence of the public prosecutor’s office.

Within this project, we will additionally focus on informing the wider interested public about the work of the UTS and, in particular, our vision of the prosecutor’s office in the new judicial laws.
