Project Goal
The project aims to enhance the independence of public prosecutors in Serbia, aligning their work with the requirements of the European integration process. Through the analysis of the legal framework, advocacy for reforms, and strengthening the transparency of the judicial system, we contribute to the rule of law and legal security.
Specific Objectives
- Strengthen the influence on the independence of public prosecution.
- Increase the visibility of the judiciary and the role of public prosecutors in society.
Main Activities
- Monitoring the implementation of key regulations affecting the independence of public prosecutors.
- Participating in the drafting of laws important for improving the judicial system.
- Preparing the 2024 Technical Report on compliance with Chapter 23.
- Creating media content to raise awareness of the role of public prosecutors.
- Cooperating with European judicial institutions through MEDEL.
This project contributes to strengthening legal security and the rule of law in Serbia by empowering public prosecutors and informing citizens about their work and importance for a democratic society.

Project Duration
The project lasts 7 months and begins in November 2024.
