Annual Conference of the Association of Prosecutors of Serbia “New Prosecutorial Laws and Fight against Corruption” will be organized on Friday, 17th November 2023 at Hotel Metropol.
Corruption, as the main issue of the Conference will be perceived from aspects of two prosecutorial laws – Law on Public Prosecutors’ Office and Law on High Prosecutorial Council.
Focus of the Conference will be on analysis of causal relation among legal solutions which guarantee autonomy of public prosecutors and fight against corruption, as well as other crimes.
This topic will be discussed by collegues from Association, PhD Mrs.Svetlana Nenadić, Prosecutors’ office for War Crimes and Mr. Predrag Milovanović, member of High Prosecutorial Council.
Besides, speakers of the Conference will be PhD Željko Brkić, State Secretary in Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mrs.Jasmina Paunović, High Prosecutors Office, Mrs.Mariarosaria Guglielmi, President of European Association MEDEL, Mr. Nemanja Nenadić, Transparency Serbia, Mr. Miroslav Djordjević, Vice President of High Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Aleksandar Radosavljević, corruption department in High Prosecutors Office in Niš, Mrs.Milena Vasić, lawyer, Lawyers’ Committee for human rights.
Introductory speech of the Conference will be given to Mrs.Bojana Šćepanović, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, PhD Mr. Miroslav Djordjević, Vice President of High Prosecutorial Council, H.E.Mr. Jan Braathu, Head of OSCE Mission to Serbia, Mrs.Plamena Halacheva, Deputy Ambassador of EU in Serbia and Mrs.Lidija Komlen Nikolić, President of Presidency of the Association.
Mrs. Zagorka Dolovac, Supreme Prosecutor has been also invited to the Conference as usual.
