The Prosecutors Association of Serbia (PAS), in partnership with the European Network of Prosecutors for the Environment – ENPE, is proud to host a two-day international conference at Hotel Metropol, Belgrade, Serbia, on 29th & 30th October 2026.
The conference will bring together prosecutors, legal experts, representatives of international organisations, civil society, and government officials from across Europe to exchange knowledge and best practices in the prosecution of environmental crime.
Discussions will focus on key challenges and emerging developments in environmental law enforcement, fostering stronger cooperation between institutions at national and international level.
Conference Topics Include:
- Position of prosecutors and independence for prosecuting environmental crime
- European models for prosecuting environmental crime (evidence collection, digital evidence, link with organised crime)
- Practical challenges in pollution cases (investigative cooperation, cross-border dimensions)
- Prosecution of pollution cases and cooperation with ENPE
- Role of civil society in creating an enabling environment for environmental justice
