Medel and its member association, Association of Greek Judges and Public Prosecutors for Democracy and Liberties, held in Athens the international conference “The backsliding of the Rule of law and the pressure exerted on the Judiciary in Europe. The role of the European Union”.
The conference provided a forum for exchanging views on Rule of law backsliding in Europe, the role of the European Union, the experiences of judges and prosecutors in national contexts where the judiciary is under attack and the resilience of independent justice.
